North East Lincolnshire is changing, and the services we deliver to our children and young people are no exception. In April, our nationally acclaimed Children and Young Peoples Plan was sent to every home in the borough, marking the beginning of a new era of co-ordinated children’s services. The result of a major consultation exercise and created after consultation with young people themselves, ‘Making a difference for Children and Young People’, pulled together the priorities of the many organisations that deliver services to children and young people.
To reflect the children and young people’s agenda, the Directorate of Children’s Services have recently transformed their management structure. This has created a number of new and exciting senior posts to help us change the way that the council and its partners work to deliver services to children. We are looking for a team of dynamic, forward thinking professionals to complete our committed and skilled service management team. Our challenge is to make North East Lincolnshire a place where every child and young person can have high expectations and the best opportunities.
North East Lincolnshire is progressing with pride. With significant regeneration of our neighbourhoods, green spaces and commercial centres; and investments in primary, secondary and children’s centres the council is ensuring that the quality of life for our residents is improving daily.
