We work hard to make North East Lincolnshire a place where people can live, learn and work in a clean, safe, healthy environment. We want to plan better outcomes for children and be known as a place where individuals and families can thrive and enjoying their lives.

Working closely with local residents, we determine the priorities for the community - we want to deliver what people need and want - not what we decide they should have!

Through this work we know that our young people:

  • want to be listened to
  • want to feel safe from being bullied
  • want more leisure and youth facilities
  • are concerned about smoking drinking and drugs
  • are worried about personal safety in parks and at night
  • want more acceptance of children with a disability

Our key objectives for the medium term include continued efforts to:

  • Develop youth engagement and participation in the area
  • To develop a youth work curriculum to help young people gain accreditation
  • To provide quality services which are planned, delivered, monitored and evaluated
  • To develop anti bullying work so that young people are safe from bullying and discrimination
  • Ensure early intervention to make children and young people less vulnerable
  • Increasing the safety and quality of our environment for children and their families

We aim to ensure young people are healthy and safe, enjoy learning, fulfill their potential, contribute positively to the community and achieve economic independence and well-being. And we hope you can help us achieve our goals!
